The 1st. phase of the 136th Canton Fair has successfully concluded. From setting up the booths to the closing day, cable ties were widely used throughout the event. These small but handy tools may seem simple, yet they played an essential role throughout the fair. Below are some real-life photos taken by our colleagues inside the venue, showcasing the practical use of cable ties during the event.
Use of Cable Ties During the Booth Setup
During the booth setup phase at the Canton Fair, our cable ties became highly popular among the workers. Many of the setup crew borrowed them, praising their practicality and ease of use. These ties were used for a variety of purposes, including securing background panels, bundling electrical wires and cables, and fastening display items. As seen in the photos, the cable ties helped organize cables on the display board, maintaining booth cleanliness and ensuring electrical safety.

Efficiency and convenience are key during booth setup. We learned from chatting with the setup workers that each person handles ten or more booths. In the fast-paced environment of the Canton Fair, using cable ties significantly boosts their work efficiency.
From an exhibitor’s perspective, keeping the booth neat and attractive is crucial, especially at a major international event like the Canton Fair. A booth’s cleanliness and organization reflect a company’s image and can directly impact buyers’ first impressions.
Maintenance and Management During the Canton Fair
Throughout the Canton Fair, cable tie wasn’t just used for booth setup; they also played a vital role in maintaining order and guiding foot traffic. To enhance the flow and safety of the event, staff used ties to secure temporary signboards, directional signs, and barriers. These measures helped attendees and visitors navigate easily and maintain order in crowded areas.
In the photos, the ties secure barriers tightly, preventing them from shifting due to large crowds or strong winds. Additionally, zip ties were essential in stabilizing sign supports, making signs more visible and reliable. Their quick installation and strong load-bearing capacity made them ideal for the dynamic exhibition environment.
Cable ties reinforce temporary safety barriers, ensuring visitors don’t accidentally wander into restricted areas. This simple tool greatly improved event management and visitor experience.
Dismantling and Packing After the Exhibition
Once the Canton Fair ends, the hall becomes very busy. Exhibitors rush to take down booths and pack everything up. Here, cable ties are still needed. They help secure foam boards, protective films, and other packing materials, keeping items safe. For example, as shown in the photo, a motorcycle is carefully wrapped using cable ties.
Some exhibitors will use extra-long zip ties to wrap around shipping boxes. This keeps the package intact and prevents it from bursting open during transit. Even in these final moments, cable ties are handy and reliable.
From setup to maintenance and dismantling, cable ties were essential at the Canton Fair. Despite their small size, they made a big impact by keeping everything secure and organized. Whether for exhibitors or staff, the ties proved to be an indispensable tool throughout the event.
