The 135th Canton Fair started on April 15, 2024! Known as one of the biggest trade shows around, the China Import and Export Fair has been a key spot for international trade since 1957. Every year, it brings together tens of thousands of exhibitors and shoppers from all over the world, featuring everything from the latest tech gadgets to everyday items.
The 135th Canton Fair
The 135th Canton Fair, officially known as the China Import and Export Fair, was established in 1957 and is the oldest and largest comprehensive international trade event in China. Held biannually in spring and autumn in Guangzhou, the fair attracts tens of thousands of exhibitors and buyers from all around the world. This year’s fair is divided into three phases, each centered around a theme: “Advanced Manufacturing,” “Quality Home Living,” and “Better Life.” Each phase features a different set of exhibits:
Phase 1: April 15-19, 2024;
The exhibits include consumer electronics and information products, household electrical appliances, lighting equipment, general machinery and machine components, power and electric equipment, processing machinery, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, electronics and electrical products, hardware, and tools.
Phase 2: April 23-27, 2024;
The exhibits feature daily-use ceramics, household items, kitchenware and tableware, weaving and rattan iron crafts, garden supplies, home decorations, festive and party supplies, gifts and premiums, glass crafts, decorative ceramics, clocks and glasses, building and decoration materials, bathroom equipment, and furniture.
Phase 3: May 1-5, 2024;
The exhibits include home textiles, textile raw materials and fabrics, carpets and tapestries, fur, leather, down and related products, fashion accessories and fittings, men’s and women’s wear, underwear, sportswear and casual wear, food, sports and travel goods, bags, pharmaceuticals, health products and medical devices, pet supplies, bathroom supplies, personal care tools, office supplies, toys, children’s wear, and maternity and baby products.

On the first day of the exhibition, we immediately felt the enthusiasm of many buyers who came to our booth one after another to discuss the features of our nylon cable ties and the challenges they are currently facing.
One conversation that particularly stood out was with Mr. Vitaliy from Russia, who emphasized the importance of finding a reliable cable tie manufacturer. He pointed out that the material of nylon cable ties is almost indistinguishable from the naked eye, making trust in the supplier crucial. In response, we thoroughly explained our sourcing of PA66 raw materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control measures. We understand the importance of quality, especially in the production of nylon cable ties, where selecting high-quality raw materials is key to ensuring product performance.
