Actual Use Cases of Nylon Cable Ties at the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong
In August 2023, we received a real-life application case of nylon cable ties at the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong from Tom.
From the photos, we can see that the paper, for waterproofing and sun protection reasons, was sealed inside plastic bags. These bags were then secured to the fence using two nylon cable ties. This not only ensured a solid grip but also made the installation process more efficient for workers.
On the front side of the plastic banner, we observed it being held in place with ten nylon cable ties at the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong. This fixing method is extremely sturdy; even strong winds wouldn’t be able to blow the banner away.
Upon closer inspection, a white nylon cable tie can be seen firmly securing the plastic banner to the railing.
On the other side, the same method was used. However, it would be even better if workers could trim the nylon cable ties as shown in the picture. A cable tie cut at too sharp of an angle can be very sharp and may cause cuts.
Taking a look at another section, even more, nylon cable ties were used. Almost every possible spot on the railing where a banner could hang had been secured with these ties.
However, in the photo, we noticed a diagonally cut nylon cable ties at the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Hong Kong. We don’t recommend using them this way. Properly using nylon cable ties is crucial. The cut end must be flat to prevent any potential injuries.
This visual case study isn’t exclusive to the Wong Tai Sin Temple. There are many other scenarios where nylon cable ties are utilized. This is just one of them. If you wish to learn the basics of nylon cable ties or watch instructional videos, follow us on YouTube for more information on the topic.
